Veterans In Politics- Season 4, Episode 10 with Ukrainian MP Dmytro Gurin

In this Ukrainian War special, our host Jonny Ball speaks directly from the streets of Ukraine with Dmytro Gurin MP.  This has been produced in conjunction with UK not for profit Bridge to Unity and you can find their details below.

Jonny finds out from Dmytro about the nature of the Ukrainian people in a quest to establish why they have been so resistant.  He also asks him about the reality of the unity behind President Zelenskyy that has impressed the world so much as well as finding out how democracy has been able to function.

Dmytro talks about living and working in both Russia and Ukraine, and about his home town of Mariupol where he went to school and University.  You get a real sense of the spirit of the Ukrainian people as well as the desperation of the situation.

We also hear his direct call to action for help from the British people as well as what he thinks will happen in the next year.  This is a truly special episode and a privilege to be able to share a Ukrainian voice with our audience.
