Our host Jonny Ball served in Afghanistan in 2011-12 and reflects briefly on that tour.  He dedicates this episode to the memory of his friend killed on operations, Sqn Ldr Ant Downing.

This is a time for the armed forces community where there are more questions and answers.  We hope that this episode helps people reflect, and more importantly, inspire them to stand up and serve again in public life, just like our Afghan veterans here!
