Jonny Singh is super humble a despite having been awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in Afghanistan for bravery. He describes this incident in detail, and even talks about how 'we' won the award- referencing that the award wasn't just to him but to his crew too. That's what we mean by humble.
Since leaving, Jonny has worked overseas for various charities and NGOs in developing nations. It's clear from our chat that this has shaped his world view. He now advises the Lib Dems on international development and hopes to one day be a Lib Dem MP.
